The study aimed to investigate therelationship between creative thinking, fielddependence /independence, tolerance ofambiguity and reading comprehension of IranianEFL learners. To achieve the aim of the study the researcher adopted the non-experimental approach. The researcher selected 180 students non-randomly and then gave them Nelson proficiency test and based on their scores, 120 students were selected as the samples of the study. In the process of the research, the four instruments namely Secondlanguage tolerance of ambiguity scale, group embedded figure test, test of creative thinking, reading comprehension test were used. The analysis indicated a significant positive correlation between creative thinking abilities, tolerance of ambiguity field dependence/independence and reading comprehension among Iranian EFL learners. This suggests that learners with higher creative thinking skills, tolerance of ambiguity, field dependence/independence, tend to have better reading comprehension abilities. The findings of this study also have implications for curriculum design and assessment. To promote creative thinking, ambiguity tolerance, and field independence, language programs should consider incorporating these constructs as explicit learning objectives or integrating them into existing course content.
