A variety of factors affect the success of students in learning foreign languages. One of these factors that has been rather under-researched in Iran is attitude. This study was designed to examine the relationship between Iranian EFL learners’ attitude and their spoken accuracy, fluency and complexity. The objective of this study was to find out whether there is a correlation between EFL learners’ attitude and their oral accuracy, fluency and complexity or not. To this end, 120 Iranian students at the intermediate level of language proficiency from JahadeDaneshghahi Institution in Urumia, Iran participated in the study. The design of the study was correlational. The data were collected through using Nelson Homogeneity Test, Gardner (1985) English Language Learning Attitudes Questionnaire and a speaking test. Pearson correlations, and Kolmogorov –Smirnov Test were used to analyze the data. The results of data analysis represented that there was not a significant relationship between intermediate EFL learners’ attitude and their spoken accuracy, fluency and complexity. Pedagogical implications were presented following the data analysis.
