چكيده
The present study investigated the impact of three types of feedback, namely, repetition, clarification request, and recast on Iranian young EFL learners’ knowledge of question form. In order to find the answers to the questions of this research, 30 elementary female EFL learners with the age range from 10 to 12 were selected based on convenience sampling after Oxford Placement Test. Next, they were randomly divided into three groups of 10. After pretesting of grammar, all of the participants received the treatment on three types of corrective feedback. Finally, there was the posttest of grammar which was administered to all groups. The results of ANOVA revealed that different types of feedback in this study had statistically significant effects on the Iranian young EFL learners’ knowledge of question form. The Results of the multiple comparisons Post-hoc test (Scheffe) revealed that the participants who received the clarification request for as corrective feedback outperformed their counterparts who practiced through repetition or recast type. The findings of the current study can encourage teachers to use corrective feedbacks in teaching English language to help EFL learners correct their errors and increase their language accuracy.
